One person was laying down on the sand just past the wet, packed area and a truck drove by fairly close to him. It does have the feeling of a section of road rather than beach.read more

Primary difference from last visit: because of winter high tides and storm surge there was considerable over topping of the dunes and lots of wood on the beach , much of it with a diameter over 14".

Lots of large pieces of woody debris. However, it appears human removal of wood is common.
There was enough trash to take some time and collect the larger pieces. read more
